A string of storms in California has left at least 17 people dead since late last month. Joe Smith, program director at the Hope Cooperative, joins us to talk about the dangerous situation many people without homes are in right now. And, half of Alaska's Kodiak Alutiiq language speakers died in the past two years. But new speakers are learning the language and passing along the Sun'aq Tribes' culture and worldview to the new generations. Claire Stremple of KTOO reports.
