The Arizona State Sun Devils football program didn't boast a great defense in 2022 and thus changes were made to turn the page and get back on track. Kenny Dillingham hired former Washington State Cougars football defensive coordinator Brian Ward to the same position with the Sun Devils and the hope is that he will turn this unit around sooner rather than later. Through the few weeks of spring practice that we have had thus far, this appears to be the track that the Sun Devils find themselves on. Several players have broken out during camp and look like future stars for the program, but the product as a whole is more confident, passionate, and determined than last year's unit.
