It was nothing short of a busy weekend for Arizona State Sun Devils athletics. Former Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward joined the Sun Devils football coaching staff as the new wide receiver's coach, Frankie Collins officially transferred to TCU, Kenny Dillingham made a guarantee to win football games... it was a whirlwind without question. Starting with Ward, Arizona State Sun Devils football lands a man who put together an arguable Hall of Fame career in Pittsburgh, but also somebody who has coaching experience including as a positional coach and even a year as a head coach. It's certainly a move that caught all of our attention and hopefully the same for players with the program and otherwise. With Collins, we had a bad feeling he was set to join a new program, and unfortunately, it came to fruition. Arizona State Sun Devils basketball lost one of the greatest defensive players in program history and a player who had a pulse on the team in more ways than one. Then you had Kenny Dillingham guarantee winning for the Sun Devils football program. It's a bold statement that we certainly hope comes through sooner rather than later.
