Welcome to the '5th Thing' with Amy & Kat!! Today’s quote is from a song called 'Winner' by Nicolle Galyon: “high five for the girl in the mirror” (go stream this song asap…it’s so good!) This leads to a chat about listening to albums all the way through & CDs from back in the day! Amy showed up to Kat’s office to record this episode with a lot of snacks…so they do a mini snack review session (where Kat shares that she gets obsessed with bars to the point where she can't ever eat them again!) SIDE NOTE: When saying almond do you pronounce it ALL-MOND or AL-MOND?? (there’s a debate if anyone out there in the world even says it the latter way!) After more snack talk (about how Kat used to pretend carrots were chips) they get into how Kat was able to apply the perspective Donald Miller shared with us a couple of weeks ago for when something doesn’t go as planned: WHAT DOES THIS MAKE POSSIBLE? Also, discussed in this episode (that is heavily about snacks, as you can tell) is the origin of Siete Foods (an amazing tortilla, chips & more company that Amy loves!!), Amy's new found "need for speed," a live podcast tour update, and a new hobby Amy wants to get into!
