HH Holmes is often called one of the first serial killers in the United States. Born Herman Mudgett, he took on various aliases over his life, including his most famous one, HH Holmes. Holmes was a con artist and a serial killer. While living in Chicago, he built what many have called his "murder castle." In 1893, the World's Fair came to Chicago and it is believed that Holmes lured many to his "murder castle" under the guise of employment or a place to stay while visiting the fair. It's also believed that many who came never left.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the infamous killer HH Holmes. Although he was only tried and convicted of one murder, historians agree that he killed many more, some people believe the number of his murders could top 200. Was Holmes a con artist who killed to keep from getting caught? Or, did he find out that enjoyed killing and began killing as a way to satisfy an urge?
