Blackbeard was beheaded 300 years ago today off the coast of North Carolina. Dan Conlin tells Mainstreet host Bob Murphy why the iconic pirate still holds our imaginations captive. Dan is the author of "Pirates of the Atlantic: Robbery, Murder And Mayhem Off The Canadian East Coast." He'll teach a course about piracy at Saint Mary's University starting in January.
