There are legends of ghost lights all over the world.
Often times these lights are rumored to be the lanterns of someone who has passed on years earlier
Depending on the location and the legend, these lantern carriers have been everything from train conductors to prospectors to coal miners
Some of the more famous ghost lights, sometimes called spook lights or Will of the Whisps, are the Brown Mountain Lights in North Carolina, the Surrency Ghost Lights in Georgia & The Hornet Spook Light near Joplin, Missouri.
With that being said, the most famous of this phenomenon are the Marfa Lights in Texas.
