146 charities are today calling on the government to 'put children first' in its reponse to the Covid-19 crisis. The charities want an urgent intervention to stop childhoods being further disrupted and the life chances of young people derailed. That means focusing on schooling, the mental health of children and young people, and providing extra support for families and care providers. We hear from Children's Commissioner Koulla Yiasouma, Professor of Mental Health Siobhan O'Neill, mum of five Wendy Coleman and teenagers Katelyn Sharkey and Aoife Campbell.
