Recipe 

Serves 1

  • 2 ounces blended Scotch whisky (Famous Grouse)
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce ginger syrup
  • 1/2 ounce honey syrup
  • 1/4 ounce Islay Scotch
  • Tumbler, chilled
  • Lemon peel and (optional) candied ginger, for garnish
  1. Shake first 4 ingredients with ice.
  2. Fine strain into tumbler over large rock.
  3. Float Islay Scotch over top of drink.
  4. Garnish with lemon twist and candied ginger, if desired.
