It will map out the new conflict environment and the rise of non-state actors and proxy forces through a prism of Syrian and Yemen conflicts including looking at the role of Iran. It will also consider the role played by the UN Security Council in preventing conflict. Catherine Ashton is former High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy for the EU.
