The guys react to the news that the Dallas Cowboys will be featured on this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks. Sal has come around on the idea of his team being on it and is optimistic, Dave loves that Jerry Jones knows he’s the real star of the team. Sal and Dave then react to Game 1 of the NBA Finals and how Giannis’ status made it difficult for gamblers. Chris Paul continues to be the MVP favorite but Dave is surprised CP3 is getting the John Elway treatment. Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau defeat Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson in The Match- Dave is frustrated that Rodgers avoided questions about football and wants this to be resolved already while Sal thinks he either plays for the Packers or doesn’t play this season. Then the guys discuss Deshaun Watson’s future – could he be suspended, traded or play in Houston this season? In honor of today being 7.7, Dave gives his favorite number 7, Big Ben Roethlisberger a pep talk. Plus, the guys discuss the NFC East and how much improved it will be, Sal doesn’t think there will be a wild card team from that division. Dave takes issue with the Phoenix Suns “Valley” jerseys and hopes they go back to their traditional white or purple for the rest of the series. Cousin Sal has a big futures bet with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Fox Bet Live and is nervous after Montreal won Game 4. Dave calls out the Mayor of Tampa Bay for putting a potential hex on the team and Sal calls for her to be removed from office. Can Montreal overcome a 3-0 deficit and win the Stanley Cup?
