We're back for our first official episode of 2020, and this week, we're watching a movie voted on by our fans on Twitter.
Last week, we put up a poll pitting three action movies against each other, and by the slimmest of margins, the 1996 comic adaptation, The Phantom, won over your hearts. So we watched it.
Take a seat as we watch this notorious bomb, as Billy Zane dons a pair of purple tights in a true throwback to some 90s adventure. We discuss everything from the quaint tone of the film, how great Treat Williams is in it, and discuss the proper runtime for a movie like this. We even take some time to allege that Stanley Kubrick murdered librarians while researching for 2001: A Space Odyssey.
