Well, it's certainly a movie we watched. 

 

Back in the before times, all the way in 2014, some producer decided that he wanted to make a movie that would appeal to the Chinese filmgoing markets. So, he gave Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen an undisclosed amount of money, flew them to the forests of China, and made a dull, joyless sand and sandals movie about white people saving Asian royalty. We'll be honest with you, we didn't enjoy this, but nevertheless, here's Outcast on a brand new episode of They Called This a Movie. 

We're in for a slog this week, so we spend a bunch of time not talking about this movie. Join us as we discuss Nicolas Cage's accent, the Star Wars prequels, and how Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man movies don't need to be re-examined.
