Do you have someone in your life that has limited time on Earth left? When we are expecting death, it can be hard to understand and work through our grief while the person is transitioning.

In this solo episode, I am talking about how expected deaths bring a different grief recovery experience than the unexpected ones. If you know someone that has been given a timeline for the amount of life they have left to live, you may be experiencing unexpected emotions that are different from other grief you have experienced. Throughout this episode I explain my personal experience with expected death, how it can change your perspective of grief, and I read a passage about expected death from a death doula that resonated with me.

Tune in to learn about expected death and the unique impact it has on the grief recovery process.

In This Episode You Will Learn

  • My experiences with expected death (4:15)
  • How expected death changes your view on the person or animal (6:53)
  • A reading about expected death (10:40)
  • To take time for your highest good (14:40)
