In a ten year strategy for England and Wales the government is pledging to disrupt more county lines gangs and announcing other measures include more testing of people at the point of arrest. This comes against stark figures on record high drug related deaths and spending on treatment and prevention which has fallen substantially since 2014. Newly appointed Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper speaks to Today’s Justin Webb about the proposals. Speaking to Mishal Husain on the programme was Chris Farrimond, Director of Threat Leadership - at the National Crime Agency which works on serious and organised crime. Also on the programme was Crime and Policing Minister Kit Malthouse. (Image Credit: Getty Images)
