COVID vaccines shots are going into lots of arms. The CDC says nearly half off all adults in the U-S have received at least one dose. It also says an average of 3-point-2 million doses are being administered each day. Does it mean we're on track for herd immunity soon? Dr. Robert Kim-Farley, professor of epidemiology & community healthy sciences at UCLA.  Dr. Anthony Fauci says a decision on whether to resume vaccinating people with the Johnson & Johnson shots will probably come by Friday. The shots paused here in California when the recommendation was given to stop them over blood clot concerns. Dr. George Rutherford is an epidemiologist & director of the Division of Prevention & Public Health at UC San Francisco's School of Medicine.  As we continue the battle against COVID-19, the main focus these days are variants. And as we talk more about variants you are probably hearing a phrase thrown around: genetic surveillance. It's a critical tool when it comes to knowing where you stand with regards to variants. Dr. Zachary Klase is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at the Drexel College of Medicine.
