Best team in San Francisco Giants history? On today's Locked On Giants podcast, host Ben Kaspick talks about the Giants' 103rd win of the season, which matches their San Francisco-era best. The win was important, as it allowed the Giants to maintain their two-game lead over the Dodgers, who won in San Diego.

It was a start for Logan Webb, who was solid but inefficient. The defense was not always great behind him, as LaMonte Wade Jr. whiffed on a pickoff throw that led to a run early in the game. Wade Jr. was the first to man first base in Brandon Belt's absence, but the true replacement for Belt on the field was Steven Duggar in center field. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Belt's fractured thumb will take approximately four weeks to heal, and he's going to be re-evaluated in two weeks.

The Giants' bullpen was up and down in the critical win. Tyler Rogers had another rough outing in the eighth inning, but Camilo Doval was absolutely electric in the ninth. Save opportunities are there for the taking with Jake McGee on the injured list, and Doval was up to the task on Tuesday night. He featured a wipe-out slider and a fastball that topped out at 102 mph.
