ROCK TALK WITH MITCH LAFON presents guitarist George Lynch. (Recorded December 2019)

George discusses his latest project, Dirty Shirley, and the various other projects (KXM, Sweet & Lynch...) he's been involved with over the last few years. Also, will there be a Dokken/Lynch Mob and Lita Ford tour? Though it's been announced, the answer seems unsure. Other topics covered include: branding, getting off the traditional album-tour-album cycle, being challenged, growing as a person & player, chasing 'the dollar', being pigeonholed, if the personalities hadn't clashed - could Dokken have been a stadium act (at approx. 14mins 19 secs.), Frank Marino, Uli Jon Roth and much more.

Commenting on his various projects: "It's my own damn fault for not saying no to anything... But it probably isn't the smartest thing in the world - business wise or on a lot of other levels."

On Dokken: "Don took a gamble that he could disband the group, take off on his own and keep that momentum going. To a large extent that was misguided... the rest of the band suffered because of that (arguably in a lot of ways). We had what we had all worked for, ripped out from under us... When it came time for us to reap the rewards of that, it was pretty much stolen out from under us by one of us. One of our brothers and that was very hard for me to take."

On the upcoming Lita Ford, Lynch Mob, Dokken tour: "Well, listen - nothing is set in stone. I'll preface this by saying that everything could fall apart tomorrow, but assuming everything goes according to plan..."

Lynch Mob new music: "Lynch Mob will have a new release in time for next year's touring."

Who's on the new Lynch Mob album: "Jimmy and I worked on the new record initially... then we brought in Joe Retta (from Heaven & Earth - who's working on vocals)... Sean McNabb is not. Next year, Brian Tichy's coming back."
