The Hawks took on the Hornets in a Sunday matinee game. The Hawks were missing Trae, Gallo, and Tony Snell along with the usual John Collins, Hunter, Reddish and Dunn. The Hornets had their own list of injuries with LaMelo, Hayward, and Malik Monk being unavailable to go. In this back and forth game, the Hawks built a 17 point lead in the first quarter only to have the Hornets build their own 10 point advantage in the fourth.
