Join Michael and Robin on 6/3/2021 as they talk with Katherine Zitterbart (aka Katie Z.), a former HR professional now running a sex-positive counseling and yoga practice. We will explore how a stint in HR helped Katherine develop her practice and more.
Katie is a no-touch facilitator of practices that help to cultivate compassion, personal power, and balanced relationships. I’m sex-positive, which means I believe that all expressions of human sexuality that do not harm the people involved and occur in a context of consent are valid and worthy. For over 20 years, I’ve guided somatic practices, such as yoga and emotional alchemy, which help folks feel better in their bodies. As a designer of workshops and immersions, Katie draws on decades of experience and training in myriad communication skills.
Compassion. Communication. Consent. The core pillars of my Work and how I operate in the world
I design and deliver workshops, classes, immersions, events in three primary areas, about all of which I am deeply passionate: somatics (movement and yoga), communication, and sexual polarity. The core concepts of all that I do are rooted in over 30 years' of study in myriad traditions including Buddhism, Taoism, Critical/Queer Theory and Psychology.
In the spring of 2020, Katie was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. We will explore how Katie's background in kink and corporate is helping her navigate a long and challenging walk on a path many have walked before, and how she is helping others.
