After the news about 106 & Park coming to an end broke, it was only right that we got one of the members of 106 & Park Hall of Fame, Freestyle Friday Series to stop by Da Den to talk with us on our latest episode of The Str8OutDaDen Podcast.

Lazies meet SunNY. The Rochester, NY native has been in Atlanta for some time now and when we ran into each other at the A3C Festival last month, we extended an invitation and the homie accepted. We only got him for 40 minutes but this episode is packed with gems. Not only did he share the story behind signing with So So Def, he also broke down how freestylers can still make hit records and even dropped a gem when he said his “Soul Of a Hustler” record was actually a freestyle.

SunNY brought us up to speed with his Sucka Free Athletics campaign that he is pushing as an initiative to bring Health to Hip-Hop and talked his upcoming project Cognac And One Leafs. Of course you know we couldn’t have the 106 & Park Freestyle Friday Hall of Fame member in Da Den and not get bars. Lets just say #VinylConversations was bananas! So you know the drill…sit back…Relax and Listen!
