The Carolina Panthers head to Washington Saturday afternoon to face former head coach Ron Rivera and the Washington Commanders in their preseason opener. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule has stated that both quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold will see action on Saturday. Rivera also plans on playing his starts between 15-20 snaps on gameday, which should allow Rhule to get a look at both Darnold and Mayfield against the Commanders first-team defense.
