While the Fourth of July has passed there's a pretty strong theme in the US of celebrating freedom throughout the month. With that in mind guest Feroza Syed and I are going to chat a bit about the Fourth of July and the idea of freedom. Feroza is a trans activist and advocate in Atlanta, Georgia.

On the episode Feroza talks about what freedom means to her, the work it will take to achieve true freedom for all and how she uses her platform to create a place where transgender and gender non-conforming individuals can feel free to express themselves.

The Things That Pissed Us Off is about vaccination privileged and people asking "where are you from?"

The Who's that Lady (from History)? is Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian-American woman in space. Resources:
