Polling stations will be closing shortly in France, where voting is underway for the first of two rounds in their national elections... and voter turnout is the highest it has been in 40 years. President Macron called the snap vote after the far-right National Rally made gains in EU elections in early June. He will be president until 2027, but pre-election polling suggested the far-right National Rally could beat out his centrist alliance in the legislature. Tensions could run high, with shopfronts boarded up across the country in anticipation of first-round results. Correspondent Ross Cullen spoke to Corin Dann.
