Don Oliver grew up in Wolfville, N.S., in the only Black family in town at the time. He went on to become a lawyer, a national vice-president of the Progressive Conservative Party and the first Black man to serve in the Canadian Senate. Host Jeff Douglas spoke with Oliver about his new autobiography, A Matter of Equality.
