English Through Football Podcast – March 2020 Update: As we all know, there is there is hardly any football being played around the world at this time but the Learn English Through Football team will continue to produce our football language podcasts – a great resource for learners and teachers of English who love football, soccer, voetbal, Fußball, calcio, サッカー, fútbol or however you call the beautiful game. In this short podcast we update listeners about some of the resources we have for learners and teachers of English. We hope you are all well and keeping safe wherever you are around the world during this difficult time. I am in London where the weather is clear and sunny but still a little chilly. Now obviously there is no football going on at the moment as nearly all leagues around the world have been postponed – they have stopped – due to the outbreak of Coronavirus but the team here at languagecaster – that’s Damon in Tokyo and myself in London – thought we’d continue producing our football language podcasts over the next few weeks in which we discuss some of the words, phrases, cliches, expressions and sayings from the beautiful game of football.
