For most Canadians the flag symbolizes national pride. But during the current protests, demonstrators have been using the flag to further their cause. Some people have removed flags from their cars or their social media handles, so as not to appear to be supporting the Freedom Convoy. Dalhousie University historian Shirley Tillotson tells us about the Maple Leaf flag and how it's being used today.
