Mark Chapman presents all the reaction from a busy day in the Premier League, with seven games in action. John Murray and Jonathan Pearce analyse Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham – which sees the Reds increase their lead to 16 points at the top of the Premier League. Jonathan thinks that Jordan Henderson could be a “dark horse” for the Football Writers’ Footballer of the Year award and predicts that Liverpool could win the league title before the Champions League semi-finals. Southampton stunned Leicester City with a 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium to get their revenge after Leicester thrashed them 9-0 at St. Mary’s earlier this season. There were big wins for Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton and Vicki Sparks and Steven Reid give their verdict on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who proved to be both hero and villain after scoring one and getting shown a red card in their 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace. It was also a huge day at the top of the Championship as West Brom’s draw with Charlton takes them above Leeds United, who lost to Sheffield Wednesday. And find out why Stevenage’s Graham Westley went the “extra mile” for his side on Saturday.
