When former special prosecutor Robert Mueller broke his silence last month he reiterated the Department of Justice policy that states a sitting president cannot be indicted, adding that his office never considered trying to indict Donald Trump for obstruction of justice. Joy Reid is joined by author Michael Wolff on his new book, ‘Siege: Trump Under Fire,’ plus his claim to have a document contradicting Mueller’s statement on not indicting Trump. Then: According to a new NBC News report, dozens of migrant children, some as young as five years old, were left in government vans for 24 hours after being separated from their parents by the Trump administration. Joy Reid is joined by one of the reporters on this story, MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff, and U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), on the growing humanitarian crisis at the border. Plus: At the Capitol Pride Parade in Washington, D.C. on Saturday a loud noise and rumors of shots fired sent people running in panic, while later police confirmed that there were neither shots fired, nor was there an active threat, although one person was arrested for possessing a handgun. Brandon Wolf, a grand marshal of the Capitol Pride Parade and a Pulse nightclub shooting survivor, joins Joy Reid to discuss the escalating fears of the LGBTQ community in the current climate. Next: A 20-foot blimp depicting Donald Trump as an infant clutching a cell phone with tiny hands was authorized to fly near Parliament by London Mayor Sadiq Khan during protests against the president’s U.K. visit. Cerise Abel-Thompson, part of a group of friends who created the Trump baby blimp, and MSNBC analyst Gabe Sherman, join Joy Reid to discuss.
