Ryan Reaves hit Filip Hronek, knocking him out of the game. If you were to ask us, regardless of whether or not Hronek was paying attention, it was cut and dry head contact and that should and always be a penalty. It was not called as such. This frazzled the already thinned lineup of the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota took control, winning 4-1. The Red Wings didn't roll over though, they rebounded nicely in the 2nd and 3rd, out shooting their opponents in those periods. But without genuine difference makers in the lineup any more it wasn't enough. Elmer Soderblom scored the lone goal and was fantastic on both sides of the puck. Magnus Hellberg was just ok. #lgrw
