The Hawkeye Women's basketball team has already scored it's first victory for next season. Senior Monika Czinano announced this week she'll return for a 5th year in 2022-23 and keep a lethal scoring duo intact. Czinano and All American guard Caitlin Clark are averaging a combined 47 points and 14 rebounds, are shooting 54% from the field and 86% at the free throw line. Czinano ranks top 20 nationally in most offensive categories. Her 1572 career point total is 12th all time at Iowa. The Watertown, Minnesota native wants to be a doctor, Caitlin Clark, a pre business major has her sights set on a professional sports team front office position. Both are as impressive in the class room as they are on the court.
