There are going to be times in our life when people - out of their own suffering or out of their own lack of emotional intelligence or spiritual maturity - are not going to be able to handle whatever pressure that they're feeling inside.

So they're going to judge, they're going to attack, they're going to say and do things before thinking, things maybe that are cruel or unkind and not necessary, but they'll do it anyway.

Add to that, the wounded child in all of us, our place of unresolved trauma, is always looking for a trigger.

How we choose to think about and respond to those triggers makes all the difference in how we react or respond and ultimately feel in our day to day life.

Are we attaching and carrying around with us everything that is tossed our way? Or are we letting go and allowing the words, the judgements and fear that comes our way roll off us like water off a duck's back?

Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we’re asking the question: Velcro or Feathers?

When life tosses difficult things your way, are you letting them stick to you, dragging them around and weighing you down? Or are you able to look at the person, situation or circumstance with spiritual discernment?

Are you internally wearing a suit of “Velcro or Feathers”?

KK's Key Takeaways:

• Cycle Of Belief (5:34)

• Stop, Drop & Roll (11:52)

• Wearing A Velcro Suit (16:01)

• It’s Not Hard To Get Offended (21:46)

• Be Wicked Curious (26:00)
