Recently, Sheryl Sandberg announced that she would be stepping down as COO of Meta, formerly known as Facebook. Sandberg made a name for herself as one of few high profile C-suite women, and encouraged a generation of women to follow in her footsteps with her book Lean In. But the legacy of Lean In is complicated, as more women have begun to question who that methodology leaves out... and wonder why the focus should be on changing their behavior, rather than attempting to change systems of sexism within the workplace.
