Recently, Sheryl Sandberg announced that she would be stepping down as COO of Meta, formerly known as Facebook. Sandberg made a name for herself as one of few high profile C-suite women, and encouraged a generation of women to follow in her footsteps with her book Lean In. But the legacy of Lean In is complicated, as more women have begun to question who that methodology leaves out... and wonder why the focus should be on changing their behavior, rather than attempting to change systems of sexism within the workplace. Vanessa Fuhrmans, deputy bureau chief of the careers and workplace section of The Wall Street Journal, joins us to discuss her piece "Sheryl Sandberg’s Legacy of Leaning In" and take calls from listeners about what Lean In means to them.
