In two tragic stories of a former loved one turning into murderers, Amy and Chris bring you the cases of Dr. Amie Harwick and Britney Ujlaky. First up, Amy recaps how Amie Harwick was murdered by an obsessive ex in a terrifying fashion. Dr. Amie Harwick was a successful sex therapist with an office in West Hollywood. She had dated Gareth Pursehouse for some time before breaking things off. She subsequently had to issue several restraining orders against Gareth due to his worrisome behavior towards her. On February 14, 2020, Amie was found dead on the ground outside of her apartment, having been strangled and thrown from her window. Gareth is currently awaiting trial as the main suspect in her murder. After that, Chris discuss the murder of 16-year-old Nevada cowgirl Britney Ujlaky whose body was discovered in the desert on March 11, 2020. She had been raped and left for dead under the blazing sun. The main suspect is her friend Bryce Dickey who was last seen with her, and especially after finding bloody boots in his closet. Bryce told a story of leaving her with a yet-to-be-identified man after allegedly pleading with her to stay with him. Bryce is currently awaiting trial and the investigation is ongoing.Send your true crime suggestions to hello@truecrimerecaps!Follow TCR on YouTube here!Follow TCR on Instagram here!Follow TCR on Facebook here! Learn more about your ad choices.
