In today’s episode of Better Lait Than Never, I jumped in with a solo show to talk about what’s going on with the Oilers, Ken Holland's press conference, and offered an extended look at the Evander Kane rumours that seem to have taken over the city over the last little while.

To kick things off, I started this week's podcast with a quick thank you to everyone that listened to the first episode and offered up feedback about what I needed to work on and how I could improve the final product. Unsurprisingly, all of you offered up some amazing feedback that I tried to put into play here on the second episode of the show, but that doesn't mean it's perfect by any means so please keep letting me know what you think. Getting down to business, I dove into what was a very busy week for the Edmonton Oilers despite the fact that they haven't played a game in what feels like 200 years. Not only did we get a press conference from Ken Holland but we also got an array of rumours and ties between the Edmonton Oilers and the newly available Evander Kane. For a lot of us, the idea of signing Kane isn't something we're all that into based on the off-ice allegations but that's not the case for everybody, so I explored the latest news on the troubled forward and offered my takes on whether or not I think the juice is worth the squeeze. Lastly, I wrapped up the podcast with another amazing round of voicemails as so many of you are already buying into this new podcast and chiming in with your own opinions and takes.
