The UK could be offered a Brexit delay to 22nd May on the condition the UK Parliament approves Theresa May’s deal next week, according to a leaked draft European Council document. However, in recent hours, 7th May has been mentioned as the EU’s preferred date for Brexit. Also in the programme: 15,000 people in Mozambique are still in need of rescue from disaster areas following Cyclone Idai; and President Trump suggests that he will recognise “Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights”.
