The Montreal Canadiens announced a pair of special nights for the upcoming month of January. First is their annual Pride night game, which both hosts are glad to see the team going forward with despite the NHL's banning of special jerseys and nights around the league. Also on the docket is a throwback night for the Habs, with a throwback to the 2000s in the cards. So the hosts want to know...Is Simple Plan coming back as the goal song?

The Habs are also down in Carolina for their return to action against the Hurricanes on Thursday night. At practice there was a reuniting of former college teammates in Jordan Harris and Jayden Struble, leaving one of the young defencemen on the outs. The hosts take a look at the options, and try to figure out what moves are coming for the team in the coming days.

It's still the holiday season, so the hosts talk about all the good stuff they're seeing around the Canadiens franchise, namely the great turnaround of two young goalies in Cayden Primeau and Jakub Dobeš. Scott also wants to talk about Saxophone Squirtle, and why it hurts so much that the Winnipeg Jets finally did something cool.
