Happy Wednesday, everyone! In minute 98, Charlie, Willy Wonka and Grandpa Joe break through the glass ceiling. Not that glass ceiling, unfortunately. As it breaks through the ceiling, the Wonkavator takes flight, and we get to see a high angle of the town of Nördlingen in Bavaria, Germany, which is standing in for the town that Charlie and Grandpa Joe live in. We also get a composite shot of the Wonkavator flying over the town, which is showing its age. Jason makes an off hand remark which leads to an extensive digression about hamsters, Scrabble and message boards. It doesn’t have anything to do with the movie…just go with it.
