Check your weapons, lace up your combat boots, slap your fellow soldier on the shoulder and get ready for this week's Countdown! Since just in time for Remembrance Day, Paul and Wayne are turning their attention to the best War films of all time. Which is to say, those films that best encapsulate the sacrifice and loyalty the brave and women of the armed forces demonstrate when fighting for their countries. Well, that's what Paul does. Wayne, while off with the fairies, counts down a list that defies both description and belief. Meaning you'll just have to listen to learn how far off the rails he has gone this time...
The guys also review Mel Gibson's return to the directorial chair (as he desperately attempts to atone for his past sins) with the impressive Hacksaw Ridge. Wayne has more problems with the film than Paul, but what surprises are in store when the boys give their final scores?
Then there's the usual Recount, Check it Out and listener feedback segments, before a blooper reel of epic length rounds out the show.
#PodernFamily promos spun this week are for those ever so amusing UK chaps, the Moviesaurus Rex podcast @MRexPodcast and for the show's US brothers, the Epic Film Guys. Check out their podcast and then give the guys some love by rating, subscribing and reviewing them at
