Loki, the television series created by Michael Waldron for Disney+, based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. It is the third television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series takes place after the events of the film
Avengers: Endgame (2019), in which an alternate version of Loki created a new timeline. Waldron serves as head writer, with Kate Herron directing for the first season. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki from the film series, with Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, Richard E. Grant, and Jonathan Majors. In this episode your hosts, Michael Shields, Douglas Grant, and Chris Thompson explore what the arrival of Kang means for future Marvel movies, question what it means that Loki fell in love with a Variant of himself, dissect the unique visual aesthetic and set design employed in the series, and of course hail one of greatest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the incomparable Miss Minutes.
