Willie Morgan is this week’s special guest on the Strettycast.

The former Manchester United midfielder describes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job in his first full season in charge as “a miracle” because so few people believed in him from the beginning.

Morgan thinks Solskjaer is still managing a lot of average players but stresses this is a five year project, and the manager needs time.

Morgan stresses that he doesn’t want Alexis Sanchez anywhere near Old Trafford again. Moreover on that, he’s quite critical of Jose Mourinho “for bringing a lot of bad people in”.

Scotland international Scott McTominay is called “the new Nobby Stiles” before Morgan names his Manchester United player of the year.

We ask Morgan about potential transfers and reckons Lionel Messi would be interested in a switch to Old Trafford.

We touch on the managers Morgan played under at the club - Sir Matt Busby, Wilf McGuiness, Frank O’Farrell and Tommy Docherty.
