Frank and John examine the first season of Avatar the Last Airbender. They talk about the plot and the characters. Frank talks about five "tent-pole" episodes for the season. They discuss their favorite episode (and their mutual favorite). John brings up some problems with this first season, particularly anachronisms that appear with the character Katara. They talk about the themes that appear in the first season, and that run through out the series.
