Inside today's Locked on Canadiens:

Montreal Canadiens GM Kent Hughes is set to meet with Shane Wright this week at the NHL's Draft Combine in Buffalo New York. While it is mostly a formality as the Canadiens will meet with dozens of prospects over the coming week, but with the recent chatter that Wright will indeed be the first overall pick it has the Habs fanbase giddy.

With the news Hughes is meeting with Wright, Scott and Laura discuss a question they received from a listener a week ago. Can Shane Wright one day be as good or better than Nick Suzuki? Scott doesn't think so as of right now, but that's okay because he believes Wright should be allowed to forge his own path, and not be held to an unfair standard.

Also, the Laval Rocket are into the Eastern Conference Finals, and another listener wanted to know if the team is too reliant on it's veterans instead of its prospects. Scott breaks down how the veterans are every bit as important to a successful AHL team, and that even with the prospects being relatively quiet on the scoresheet they've played quite well. The two hosts also discuss potentially changing the CHL/NHL agreement and letting younger players play in the AHL in the near future.

Finally, it's back to player reviews, and in this show it's Joel Armia in the spotlight! The big Finn had a disappointing regular season for the Habs, but has dominated at the World Championships, winning a gold medal on Sunday. Is Armia gone in the off-season, or can Martin St. Louis work his magic with him and bring back the power forward from the 2021 playoffs?
