The Texas perspective helps combine the urban and the rural, the elegant and the humble, the refined and the rough-hewned, affording the opportunity to impose beautiful comfort on genuine haciendas, urban high-rise apartments, and coastal cabins. Most of all, Marcus Mohon Interiors tries to impart joy — and sometimes that happens with a beautiful pillow or an elegant drape.   Marcus Mohon was drawing and scribbling from a young age, and his creative side eventually won out. Putting together spaces where people can live, laugh and love with their families and those closest to them is more of a mission for Marcus than a career. His first priority is the “who” behind the project rather than the house or the furnishings. Serving the client matters — a value that Marcus has inherited from his family, friends and faith. A native of Southeast Texas, Marcus likes to say that he grew up “water-skiing with the alligators.” He has an economics degree from Baylor University and studied interior design at the University of Texas at Austin.
