Beth Daecher, founded bd home in 2008 after completing a full-scale renovation of her own Noe Valley home, along with a re-vamp of her children’s preschool. Trained in engineering at Cornell University and interior design at the University of California, Berkeley, Beth maintains an unparalleled understanding of architectural and reconstruction principles. After college, Beth spent 10 years as a director in high-tech firms. “My experience in the corporate world helps me run an efficient and successful business,” notes Beth. “But the creative and collaborative parts of design speak to my strengths and my passion.” Amidst the dust and construction of her own remodel, Beth found herself enthralled with the process of creating a home tailored to her family's needs. While fine-tuning existing drawings and sourcing products, Beth discovered renovating, reconstructing, and re-imagining suited her perfectly. Today, Beth designs residential projects. A strong believer in mixing a client’s personal furniture pieces with new retail finds and custom pieces, Beth builds layered, textured, and inviting interiors on time--and on budget. Whether designing a modern retreat or a traditional family home, hallmark's of Beth's design include an affinity for exciting pattern and dazzling color. Beth’s integrated approach to design, project management, and sourcing make her a sought-after designer in the Bay Area for both small and large-scale projects. With her attention to client collaboration, project management, and design versus livability balance, clients love Beth's passionate approach to her work. Beth lives with her husband, two children, and cat in her Noe Valley oasis she calls home.
