Jackie Siegel is best known for her role in the award winning documentary feature, Queen of Versailles (Magnolia Pictures),which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012 and continues to be one of the most popular movies on Netflix. Jackie will soon be seen in the follow up film, Generation Wealth, due mid-September for national release. A little back story: Jackie Sielgel earned the "Queen" moniker when a decade ago, she and husband, David Siegel, began an extravagant project to build the largest private residence in the U.S.—named Versailles—and the ambitious construction ground to a halt as the '08 recession dented their fortune. The rise and fall of their grand ambitions were captured in the critically acclaimed 2012 documentary based on their plans for the 90,000-square-foot behemoth near Orlando, FL. Currently on track for completion in 2018 there's rumor the French original may look modest by comparison to the Siegel's version with 10 kitchens, an ice skating rink, and a 5,000-square-foot closet. Her earlier years began with earning her bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Siegel went on to win the prestigious title of Mrs. Florida America a few years later, and is now the Director and Owner of the Mrs. Florida America contest. She is the true intersection of brains, beauty and entrepreneurism. Along with her business ventures and philanthropic work, Siegel is currently the Brand Ambassador for cosmetic brand, Love Light Lips, a unique lip kit that contains salivating colors, a custom wand, and an illuminated mirror for expert application. While Siegel has a full schedule as model, actress, and philanthropist, she is also a devoted wife to Westgate Resorts Founder and CEO David Siegel, and mother to seven beautiful children. Siegel is working on a documentary film chronicling her unique life daily as well as co-authoring the non-fiction book due for publication late 2017 based on the diaries of eldest daughter, Victoria Siegel. Philanthropy is a cause Siegel holds dear to her heart, which fueled her energy to create a charity of her own two years ago, the Victoria’s Voice Foundation, in honor of her late daughter. She also is concerned with giving back to local communities and founded of the Ocoee Thrift Mart whose proceeds are donated to local non-profit organizations. Jackie is also the Board of Directors for the Westgate Resorts Foundation, a charity committed to building strong families and a strong workforce.
