With a passion for beautiful objects, antiques, materials and colors, Allison Caccoma’s interiors exude sophistication and elegance, yet maintain a comfortable and timeless quality. Having started her professional career in finance on Wall Street, Allison, a native New Yorker, later received a degree from the New York School of Interior Design. Classically trained under the tutelage of legendary designer Bunny Williams, Allison moved to San Francisco with her husband in 2011. Her detail-driven approach to design and her East Coast sensibility quickly made her one of the Bay Area’s most sought-after designers. Allison’s work has been featured in publications such as House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal Weekend Edition, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, At Home Magazine, Modern Luxury Interiors, SF Chronicle/Habitat, The Boston Globe, and Design New England. She has also participated in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, Sotheby’s Designer Showhouse, San Francisco Fall Art and Antique Show Designer Vignettes, and the Southport Congregational Church’s ‘Rooms with a View’ Showhouse. Allison is the Programming Committee Chairperson of the Northern California Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, a Committee Chairperson for the New York based Decorators Club, and is also on the New York School of Interior Design Alumni Council. Her newest venture, an exclusive boutique in San Francisco’s elite Pacific Heights neighborhood, Decoration, opened this summer. A mix of handpicked vintage pieces and a carefully curated collection of designs by John Rosselli International, Bunny Williams Home, and Christopher Spitzmiller, Decoration is the first of its kind to grace the West Coast city of San Francisco.
