Having grown up in Los Angeles, the thought of living both indoors and out comes naturally to her. Following her studies at UCLA’s prestigious Interior Design program, she has created stunning residential and commercial interiors that represent the chic simplicity and natural beauty that is Southern California living.   Barrett’s approach is based on extensive research, visioning and communication, always presenting a strong story and reliable snapshot for her client’s dream interiors.  She is reverent towards the architectural history of each project but fearless in adding a light touch of humor within its framework.  From 2006-2009, Chris lead the interior design team for the award-wining Los Angeles-based design and architecture firm KAA Design Group, collaborating on interiors at the highest end of the residential and commercial markets. Since the re-launch of the new firm under her own name in 2009, Barrett has applied this intimate knowledge of the early planning processes in architecture to add yet another key layer to her work. Barrett has served as president of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America, Southern California Chapter. Barrett has two grown children.
