Since forming Harmonious Living in 1999, Tish Mills has become known for creating highly peaceful spaces that area a true reflection of the homeowner’s personality and the way that they live.  As one client put it, “You know a Tish Mills’ design because of the exhale when you walk in to a room.  Regardless of whether it is a traditional design or a contemporary space, they are always very comfortable and peaceful.” Tish uses a mix of color and materials from the surroundings to create balanced spaces that are seamless from interior to exterior.  Project results have been recognized numerous times within the design industry.  Tish Mills has received 23 ASID design excellence awards, 3 national ASID awards and has been nominated for the Southeastern Designer of the Year Award.  Her work has been featured in magazines such as Elle Décor, Traditional Home, Atlanta Homes Lifestyles and Atlanta Magazine Home as well as numerous books on interior design.  In addition to participating in 18 Regional Show Houses, Tish recently participated in the Traditional Home Napa Valley Show House.   While the firm’s work has traditionally been focused on residential projects throughout the Southeast, there are also a growing number of projects on the West Coast, Tish has also completed projects in China and Africa, creating an international presence for her firm.   Tish Mills is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers, a founding member of both the Design Leadership Network and Leaders of Design Council.
