Submit ReviewThis week we discuss two very different films with unforeseen parallels. First we discuss A Gentleman's Agreement (1947) starring Gregory Peck and directed by Elia Kazan. Then we discuss the first film from designer and director Tom Ford A Single Man (2009). Starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Nicholas Hoult the film is a very stylized look at a gay man in the 1950's struggling to get past the sudden death of his partner.
Then we have a segment we call Hidden Gems. Where we suggest films we think need more recognition. This week Joe has a WWII film called Europa Europa and Nick discusses a film called My Man Godfrey.
We will be off for Memorial Day weekend but we pick two films for our next episode in early June.
